Risk frameworks are becoming procurement language
The earlier article attributed a claim about procurement practices to NIST without evidence that buyers had adopted those practices. We withdraw that attribution.
The framework is voluntary and intended to support AI risk management. Its existence alone does not demonstrate procurement adoption, establish a legal requirement, or prove that a supplier complies with it.
